Those who know my posts over time have seen my fascination with The Junior Classics. Here's another example of the early editions and what a nice little treasure trove of literature each of these is. I picked this up and added it to the bookshelf for only a couple of dollars which I consider a great deal, especially with the age of it. Such quality! There are not enough of these fine illustrations for my taste, but considering the limitations of the time and the limitations of making these small, accessible and inexpensive but high quality, they strike a nice balance.
