Limp dick bureaucrats love to take their money and will use any law on the books to destroy small farms, especially those producing better products. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, 90+ percent of all U.S. farms are family owned and operated. The USDA has an ever changing, and problematic, definition of The Family Farm. It used to be based on gross income, for a small ag operation, of $300K/year. That is a part-time farmer. One might think organizations, such as The Farm Bureau, would actually Lobby for The Family Farm, we DID, they DON'T. Now for the wierd part, every State that I own a 'farm' (3) Dairy regs require concrete floors for milking parlors.
