Prehistory is not what you think it is... Whilst Prehistory is often portrayed through the cliché of cavemen, there is, ultimately, no significant difference between Orehistory and Antiquity. Human societies possessed the same intellectual faculties and practices and cultures that were quite similar to those of their ancient descendants. The entire contemporary view of "Prehistory" is nothing more than a conglomeration of 19th-century beliefs. The term "Great Antiquity" would be far more appropriate than "Prehistory". Moreover, attributing a specific date and civilisation to the invention of writing (3400 BC) is also a dead end. Source: t.me//s/lecercledulfric
