Its funny that the critics hate The Tomorrow War...Because of Chris Pratt and complaints of diversity, yet this is probably the most blatant examples of explicit race and gender orchestrating towards that end that I've seen in a movie. What are they talking about? They talk about this movie like its some right wing white fantasy...This movie is aggressively left wing, this is twitter levels of writing and character depictions. What I don't like about the movie is that it has awful exposition, its tonally awful, its like they're trying to do the marvel thing where they interject with that stupid "oh I'm so befuddled in this circumstance / cut the tension" crap and it doesn't work at all. The very beginning was good, then it turns into a B movie almost immediately.
