I am a Myanmar citizen, and I need the world to hear our cries for help. Even amidst the unimaginable devastation caused by an earthquake, the military junta continues its violent attacks on us. While people were already suffering, they bombed at least five locations, turning a natural disaster into an even worse nightmare. Instead of offering help and support, the junta is launching airstrikes and artillery shelling at civilian areas, killing innocent people, destroying homes, and forcing even more families to flee for their lives. They are blocking essential humanitarian aid, leaving the wounded and homeless without support, and worsening the suffering of those already devastated.
