Is FAITH only “...the substance of things NOT seen”(?!?) Well according to this often quoted verse from Hebrews 11:1 that IS true, but sometimes the exact opposite can also be true — and here’s why... On September 12, 1962 President Kennedy made a famous speech about going to the moon. 'Giant' technical obstacles were known and yet unsolved - but Kennedy looked at the moon and said what seemed impossible: “We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things not because they are EASY, but because they are HARD ... because that challenge is ONE that we are willing to accept, ONE we are unwilling to postpone, and ONE we intend to WIN.” In today’s scripture account - unlike the defeatist report by the ten spies that went before and saw the land full of 'Giants' - Joshua and Caleb SAW like Kennedy something that they were unwilling to postpone and one they also intended to WIN. Friend, what 'Giants' that you may see as difficult or impossible right now may instead be a challenge to SEE BY FAITH and an opportunity to look past the 'Giants' and find your moon landing in the place of 'Milk & Honey.' It may not be EASY and, It may be HARD, - but if you are willing to accept the challenge - That Promised Land Is Waiting There For YOU.
