*** Reviewing louder for the folks in the back my response to being told by coworkers in the latter 1990's that I needed to move out of my communal extended family home - a 3-BR apartment - because I was "just a built in babysitter." I was?  It's NOT like me to avoid complaining about any valid annoyance.  How had I overlooked this tremendous injustice directed toward me of all people! I had just told them, "No, I'm not, no I'm not, no I'm not."  But that wasn't really cutting the mustard. So I asked them, "When am I being tapped to babysit too much?  Is it when I'm at my full-time job, Monday thru Friday?  Is it when the kids are at school?  Is it when I'm at my evening course each week or in the evening computer course I'm teaching 2 evenings a week?  When exactly am I being taken advantage of with all this unpaid babysitting?" After all, I'm such a pushover, I'd been told, so evidently I just was blind to all of this unpaid babysitting I was doing. When was it again?"   And I stopped hearing that "unpaid babysitter" stuff.
