”Low Horology” My friend for whom I bought the below-quoted Hamilton Khaki Field Watch with Date was tickled to report to me that people actually noticed his watch and cooed, ‘nice watch’ and ‘Oh! Hamilton….!’ at him a couple of times over the last month. And this, I replied, is to be expected, as Hamilton is in fact a brand with a legit history in America, particularly on regulating trains, which was of paramount importance 120 years ago. Hamilton is known as a “nice watch” because it earned its reputation. All of which means, of course, that he is now hooked. Some day he’ll want to investigate watches just beyond Hamilton, just as I moved him from Timex to Hamilton with this gift. @inthe303 knows what I am talking about. 😈
