With forages drying out, grass awns (aka foxtails in these parts) are a PROBLEM. They’re a formidable foe & not to be trifled with. This ol’ lady came in from grazing the drying hills with this cloudy blue eye. 4 days prior, her eye was normal. If this had continued much longer, the eye could have been too traumatized to save.
