Black Swallowtail caterpillars on parsley that we encourage every year. Have raised several broods in the last few years. Hoping these come out of chrysalis so we don’t have to overwinter them in our garage. It involves moving the enclosure. Yikes! Some photos of the eight I am aware of…can only find 5 of the chrysalis so far, I know there are more in there. Fun hobby, started during COVID boring summer trying to keep them from being snacked by birds and wasps. Last photo is a couple females we released in May after being in the garage all winter. Females are more blue…males have yellow like last photo
