If you hide the challenges you face, how can you show your kids by example how to be resilient? Let them see your dependence on God so you later can celebrate how He helped! You aren’t preparing your kids to lead in today’s world, you are preparing them to thrive in an uncertain future. Their future will even more so require resilience, resourcefulness, and dependence on the Lords help. These things can’t be taught, they need to be caught. Reject passivity and lead. “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” -Isaiah 41:10 #faith #truth #marriage #leadership
