#GOP #MidTerms2026 #Convention #Dallas promises... I am with Trump on 95+% of things... but.... I am with DeSantis on this.... The $5k Checks would be IRRESPONSIBLE while we still are running a $1.8T Budget Deficit and just passed $40T in Debt...... The $1.3T Dividends Checks would INDEED CAUSE INFLATION RATES TO SHOOT BACK UP AGAIN at a time we STILL do not have them back DOWN ENOUGH (to low levels they were during Trump45).... I DO, HOWEVER, support further TAX CUTS to help ALL TAXPAYERS to keep more of their own money and would NOT be inflationary. *OR* I could be convinced a much smaller/reasonable $500 Check in 2027 and another in $500 Check sent in 2028 that would be IN PART some of the increased Revenues to the Treasury that will result going forward once the RESHORE/REINVESTMENT of Trillions results in ACTUAL NEW/EXPANDED MANUFACTURING returned to the USA and more Jobs. But, Sorry, I can do BASIC MATH and understand ECONOICS, the reinvestments in USA WILL NOT equate to a magical $1.3T EXTRA monies for the Fed Govt to PLAY WITH (REDISTRIBUTE) in 2027. I invite you all to JOIN IN REALITY with me, NOT FANTASY. Plus $500/Checks would not be inflationary (or AS infaltionary) and WORKABLE WITHIN THE NUMBERS and also leave more to HELP BRING DOWN THE $1.8T DEFICITS that would also BENEFIT ALL AMERICANS and help achieve as Trump has been BEGGING FOR lower inflation and lower interest rates - BENEFITING ALL AMERICANS, not just those that would get a Check. EXCEPT for the $5k giveaway promise, BOTH NIGHTS of the Convention were spent talking about GOP being the responsible Adults - the $5k gimmick/promise just throws all that away. What happened to the "I will not sign anymore OMNIBUS bills promise?" which he's signed 3 CR's already this term and about to sign a 4th to keep Fed Govt open and going still again soon?!?!? Much of those CR's still having BiDUMB MoneyLaundering scheme spending EXTENDED IN THEM. We need SPENDING CUTS, real ones, not the few 100 Billion of DOGE (the easy Waste, Fraud, Abuse, parts) Cuts out of SEVEN TRILLION DOLLARS that the Fed Govt Spends EVERY YEAR!!!!! WE NEED TO BE THINKERS AND ADULTS, real Conservative Republicans, NOT Populists promoting GIVEAWAYS!!!!
