This includes conceptual plans for systems designed to protect Israeli satellites from hostile anti-satellite weapons and exploring space-based offensive systems. * Space Laser Concepts: Israel has explored modeling future space-based directed-energy weapons on its ground-based laser technology. * Current Status: These plans remain in research, concept, and development phases. No operational orbit-based weapon systems have been deployed. 2.
