🌾🐎🐄Lancaster County review Part 3🐄🐎🌾 Miscellaneous Observations #AmishCountry I saw lots of tobacco drying in Amish barns. I saw Amish women and children harvesting tobacco. I am curious about Amish rules on personal tobacco use, or if they just sell it. #tobacco 🚬 Whenever I saw Amish mowing their lawn, it was a non-motorized reel mower and a woman was doing the mowing. There are many Mennonite churches in Lancaster County, as you would expect. #Mennonite You can tell an Amish house by the huge clothesline on pulleys with the family's laundry on it. Traffic was much more than I expected going during the week. Much more than Holmes County, Ohio. You'll need some extra patience driving. Of course, horse and buggies have right-of-way. 🐎 🐴 🚗 The tourist attractions take credit cards. Many personal Amish businesses do not. 💵 I only heard Pennsylvania Dutch once. A Mennonite friend told me they generally don't speak it in front of the "English people" (non-Amish). #PennsylvaniaDutch #Deutsch Lancaster County is really beautiful 😍.
