I took this photograph in 1999, when I was working at a shipyard in Bayonne. My job was to survey Kias for damage as they came off the ship from Korea, and to document any damage I found with a digital camera. It was the first time I had ever used a digital camera. Looking out over the bay, I couldn't resist using the camera to take this picture of the NY skyline. It was magical, once. They took that from us.
