Are you a state citizen or a United States citizen? The answer is you should be more so a state citizen because the states were originally a united union as opposed to be too exclusively bound to federal government. See the 9th and 10th amendments regarding that. See what happened in 1871. A United States citizen is a citizen of the corporation of DC and other such places as opposed to the states.
