Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva won't use their civod testing provider for his department because they have ties to the Chinese government. You get tested, they run off with your DNA. Why do they want your DNA? But regardless, when you get tested for civod, you are giving them a sample of your DNA. And they run off with it.
