This is true… #StatenIsland artist and activist #ScottLoBaido installed a roughly 6-foot bronze-patinated statue of a raised middle finger (titled #Vaffanculo — Italian for “go f*** yourself”) directly in front of #NYCHall in mid-May 2026. It was placed on a pedestal facing the building as a protest against #MayorZohranMamdani and his policies. The statue drew crowds, media attention, and viral spread online.
