Much attention has been given to Tuesday's governor contests, but other races deserve special mention... Nicholas Seppy, a 19 year old, trounced a sitting school board member who played a part in ruining his senior year. A socialist running (as a democrat) for mayor of Buffalo (and endorsed by major political players like Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand) was defeated by a write-in campaign. Republican John Lujan won an overwhelmingly Hispanic seat in Texas that Joe Biden carried by 14 points last year. In Minneapolis, a radical attempt to formally implement intentional carnage and violence, by defunding the police, was roundly rejected despite a heavily D voting population. Edward Durr, a truck driver who spent $153 on his race (a big chunk of it on Dunkin), unseated the democrat Senate President - one of the most powerful politicians in the state. A political great awakening is continuing across America. A rejection of the failed policies of failed politicians. A rejection of the false narratives our "ruling elite" have peddled to the people for decades. Next year the people of Michigan will have our turn.
