As someone raised in the Catholic Church I can attest to its many problems. Priests should be allowed to marry and the Pope’s power should, at the very least, be decentralized. More emphasis should be placed on the Bible and less on the Church. All that aside, some protestants tend to forget the many corruptions and imperfections that exist within their own communities. Ex: Catholicism’s emphasis on marriage and family helped shape who I am today. Catholic divorce rate: 25%. Protestant divorce rate: 51%
