It was Italian night in Deplorableville tonight. Hot Johnsonville Italian sausage uncased, fried then simmered in Classico sausage tomato sauce with fresh Baby Bella mushrooms. If I use off the shelf ingredients, I always add to them. Here I added garlic and red pepper flakes. Delicious. 👍🏼👍🏼 The sauce was mixed into Barilla rotini and topped with Parmesan and parsley. A small salad on the side with non authentic Italian dressing. 😂 This dinner was actually better than meals I have had in Italian restaurants. Cooking at home can be better, faster, and way cheaper than going to restaurants.
