Ever heard of the Olive Branch Petition? The olive branch proclamation was approved on July 5, 1776 and was the last attempt to try and tell King George that he was making a big mistake by trying to flex... And we see how well that turned out. Our founding fathers tried everything in their power to do things peacefully and not go to guns, but when they did.... They knew it wasn't going to be pretty, it wouldn't be quick, and there would be blood on the hands of both sides.. but they believed in the idea of a free country so much.. they were willing to risk theirs and their families lives. For those who want to criticize the founding of our nation... Would you be willing to man/woman up and do that? Because if not, sit down and shut up.
