The 3D printed bolt action AR15 300 BLK prototype testing. Two trips to the range, 40 shots. During the first trip we were able to zero the rifle at 100 yards, although the rifle was still shooting a little too high for the scope. On the second trip, the rifle seemed to be shooting even higher and the scope was already maxed out. . . . . . This particular scope is permanently mounted to the base, so we cannot install shims to fix this issue. Will try to find another scope and try again. From what we have seen so far, this rifle seems to be shooting a group that is less than 3 MOA. The bolt/bolt carrier is very stiff with ammunition in the chamber and we have to frequently tap it open after firing. The bolt does not have this issue when there is no ammunition in the chamber. We're currently trying to figure this out. We may have a tolerance issue between our standard bolt and barrel. More testing to come.
