It is so easy to criticize people in ministry, but what matters is trying to do ministry yourself. I just heard this phrase through a prophetic word by Troy Black: “Some people have resigned themselves to doing nothing perfectly.” This is so true and profound. The fear of man, rejection, and failure will fill a stadium with critical Christians on the sidelines who “do nothing perfectly.” We need obedient Christians who trust in the love of God enough to try, even though they will make mistakes as they go. The only absolute failure in the kingdom of God is not trying.
