At the end of Biden's term in office, the national debt was $33 Trillion. Now, it's $39 Trillion. I remember when I thought--at the beginning of OBAMA'S term in office, that ONE TRILLION was bad enough. This number keeps ballooning ever faster. Trump was trying to rein this spending in. I was delighted about DOGE, but--it wasn't and isn't going to be ENOUGH. I'm having trouble believing that Trump will be able to put this genie back in the box. I'm also watching the Senate misbehave like fractious cats over the SAVE Act--which should be a no-brainer when it comes to safe-guarding our elections, but, they're still refusing to support it. And then, there is THIS. If you want to know why inflation keeps rising by ridiculous amounts, why the price of gas is too high, why your groceries and taxes are costing W-A-A-A-Y too much, then... you need to look no farther. This flagrant abuse of the public purse HAS to stop. Any bureaucrat and elected official who isn't actively working to fix this is a serious part of the problem and needs to be removed from office for derilection of duty. Once again, this is WHY we need a Constitutional Convention.
