NATO Allies - No Longer After World War II, the communists in the east joined into the military alliance called the Warsaw Pact. The West allied against the communists in NATO. Balance of power was achieved. But times have changed. The allies of the US are now ideological enemies; progressives with international socialist policies with a hockey stick trend toward authoritarianism and fascism. The defense of a country that canceled elections, operates unlawful bio labs, cancels the Orthodox church and celebrates National Socialists of past and present, shows what our European partners have become. Turn on European news and see for yourself. Everything the United States Constitution stands for is ridiculed: free speech, the 2nd Amendment, the 14th, and most others. President Trump is unilaterally hated, not just despised, hated, because he is a threat to the Democratyrrany of the European socialist/feudalists, whose idea of democracy is to crush all those who do not agree with their misguided ideology and policies in the name of democracy. The case for NATO up until the fall of the USSR and the Eastern Bloc, has ceased to exist. Not only is Europe, in particular the EU, against everything we cherish and fought for, they actively oppose and slander us every which way they can. The EU is terrorizing the citizens of Europe who never voted for a full-fledged statehood of the EU. The EU has its own parliament (ceremonial), unelected commissars that make decisions, courts, police force, military, foreign ministers (Secretary of State), and laws that, in most cases, go against the interests of the nation states. Why then is a military alliance with progressives and socialists still a viable option for the US? I argue, it is not. Get out of Europe. Get out of the Middle East. From a biblical perspective, it's obvious. No good can come from a partnership with evil. But then again, the US is heading in the same direction. Godless minions who have no moral compass are ruling the world. Perhaps, my view is simplistic, not considering threats from China, Iran, and other adversaries.
