AGAIN, the National Guard is NOT 911! You don't just call them up and they show up two minutes blasting their way through the damned Capitol!!! They have lives. They have to be notified that they have been deployed. They have to notify their employers and family. Then they have to get to the appointed STAGING AREA, where the prevailing law enforcement agency swears them in. THEN they have to get orders as to their assignments, to whom they report, and what the rules of engagement are going to be. THE CAPITOL SHOULD HAVE CALLED METRO, #FFS!!!
