Someone who has a negative outlook on things, are either correct (satisfying) or wrong, and then something great happens (satisfying). If you are a positive person, it's either just what you expected (neutral), or it fails miserably (negative). And you were also wrong - again (negative). Being negative: Win/Win. This is positive. Being positive: -/Bad/Bad. This is negative.
