For too long, principled conservatives were told to sit down and wait their turn. Told that their values were a liability. Attacked by elites, by captured institutions, by woke companies and sometimes from the inside, by their own colleagues. CPAC never accepted that. We backed true conservative leaders when it mattered most, on their way up, and through every fight that followed. In 2019, we asked an Alice Springs town councillor to speak at the very first CPAC. Today Jacinta Nampijinpa Price is a Senator, a Shadow Minister, and one of the defining conservative voices in the country. In 2022 we platformed Matt Canavanwhen he was a National Party backbencher. Today he leads the Nationals. In 2023 we gave Pauline Hanson the stage as she raised the alarm on mass migration and Net Zero. Today she heads a political force central to conservatives regaining government. In 2026, we are proud to back Angus Taylor as leader of the Liberal Party. Handed an incredible challenge to fix a party whose reputation has been derailed by left-of-centre colleagues, he is leaning into the task and articulating a new beginning: a classical liberal future for the once great Liberal Party. We know that you believe #Australia’s best days can be in front of her, not behind. We know that you hold deep concerns over the hard-left turn our country has taken under this socialist Labor government. We know you want principled conservative leadership to take us out of the mire. We know you want to Unleash Australia’s Future! That’s what we mean by our theme for this year’s conference. To Unleash Australia’s Future is to honour and revive sovereignty, tradition, and the rewards of hard work. But this takes more than commentary. It takes courageous leadership backed by an unstoppable movement. #We now have that leadership in Angus, Matt & Pauline. But they can’t do it on their own.
