Today is METEOROLOGICAL day!!! ___________________________________ On the left we have NinUrta, whom historians say is a man married to a man. That's ludicrous! Nin means "Lady" in Sumerian; And, all other gods with the prefix "Nin" are female. I don't care what historians say, Ninurta was a female. And, she was the goddess of Rain. Her parents were Enlil (Lord of storms) and Ninlil (Lady of storms). On the right we have Tefnut (the Egyptian goddess of rain). She is often depicted as an anthropomorphized lioness, but according to the Wikipedia article, she sometimes is depicted having a serpent's tail; and I like that, so that's how I depicted her.
