Good Monday morning to you all. May the Lord bless you!! Whenever I read about the Old Testament kings, I cringe when my eyes hit this line, "...and he did evil in the sight of the Lord." Only a handful of kings did what was right. Well, sort of. The rest worshiped idols in the high places. Funny thing about sin. It never satisfies for long. You can hit all the so-called high places. You can bounce from mountain to hill and back again, but you'll never be content or satisfied. Only God can satisfy your soul and make you whole. I don't know about you but I want to follow Jesus with all that is within me and bless His Holy Name. I definitely DO NOT want a little annotation next to my name in God's notebook, "...And she did evil in the sight of the Lord."
