Why does God teach us about pain, and why doesn't the pain go away? Perhaps God feels pain that doesn't go away. If there is a cosmic fundamental randomness (i.e., the Nothing) outside God constantly bombarding Him, and if God protects us from that randomness/nothing (its nothing because it's impossible to discern anything inside something fundamentally random), then we should feel *tremendous gratitude *for God's protection, and yes, gratitude for lessons of God's perpetual pain.
