Your Evening Negro- 16-year-old Lilyana Rose Wagner pleaded guilty to felony murder and aggravated assault in the death of her mother, 51-year-old Rachel Suzanne Wagner. On November 19, 2024, police responded to reports of a one-car wreck involving Lilyana in Crawford County, Georgia. The teen told police that she lived alone with her mother, but officers were unable to get in contact with her. After a welfare check, police found Rachel dead in her bed from a single gunshot wound to the back of her head. Investigators say Lilyana had become fascinated with school shooters. Reports say that she had “an extensive online and social media reputation as being someone who was interested in planning and executing a mass casualty event.” Lilyana’s phone allegedly showed conversations with “anonymous people who encouraged her to plan and commit murder.” In a written confession, Lilyana wrote, “this whole thing was a last-minute choice,” and said she had initially planned to commit a shooting at her old middle school but chose to kill her mother instead.
