I want to tell a story. God has had me on a personal journey since February. Knowing certain things needed to change in my own life. For myself. And for my two amazing daughters. Having me on a journey of walking in faith. With no clue of the destination. I set up a tent on my property. I live on five acres in the woods. And have spent so much time reading and praying. In my own little Tabernacle. God laid it on my heart RECENTLY to put myself out there in running for Congress. I've always been so passionate about our country. Our freedoms. And liberty. And I understand how badly the workforce and our country needs real leadership. The kind of leadership that Christ walked out for us. So I put it out to test the waters. In the past month, He has led me to three specific scriptures. Two times each. One is the story of God asking Moses to lead the people out of Egypt. And Moses doubting himself. Questioning why him?? The other is the story of Gideon being told by the Lord to do the same. To stand up and help save Israel. And him doubting the same as Moses. Telling the Lord that he is the least of his family. The third was from Revelations. The angel with one foot on the sea. The other on land. Handing John a scroll to "take and eat". Sweet to the taste. Sour to the belly. All three spoke to me. In search for an answer in whether to pursue this journey. And I'll be glad to explain how they all spoke to me. If you care to understand. And I can sit and try to find every excuse to argue against God calling me to this. But we are doing this. God has told me repeatedly for the last four months. To trust Him. Also saying "I've got you". And I have no doubt whatsoever that Hes got me. Day 1 of this journey. Begins today. #ColeForTX8
