Have you ever wondered why God felt it was necessary to lead Jacob, Joseph and all of Israel into Egypt KNOWING THEY WOULD EVENTUALLY BECOME SLAVES THERE? THE FIRST CLUE IS THE JEALOUSY THAT MOTIVATED JOSEPH’S BROTHERS TO WANT TO KILL HIM. The spiritual immaturity in Jacob, and all of his family that had to be brought to the surface in the FIRES OF SLAVERY. The example Joseph demonstrated in contrast to his brothers of forgiveness, love and mercy.
