@Wanderers_Choice The 'right' still believe that these institutions have legitimacy. The university, for instance, has not been educating an intellectual elite since the end of WWII. The university sells credentials to an army of midwits who then staff the totalitarian liberal administrative state. This is the 'overproduction of elites' others have remarked about. What do the university admins and profs get out of doing this? Entrenched social status and material wealth for midwit profs, the majority of whom are wholly unqualified women. An intellectual elite of White male leadership is chased out of these institutions. But, even if the university were still fulfilling its original purpose, it should always be tightly monitored for subversive teachings by the greater society.
