I've written critically about the "Yinization" of our civilization. That's the female Yin element that's swept everything in its path in the West, excepting only pockets of "rednecks." Granted, it's a stereotype, but a salient element of "femaleness" is feelings over rationality, hysteria over stoicism [btw the word hysteria comes from the Greek hystera, i.e. "uterus"]. And that's the thing about actors. These are people adept at emoting, not thinking. And because the people at large have been inured to "feelings" -- recall that mid-1970s ridiculous song?--actors have a huge influence on them that they shouldn't have; excepting a James Woods here and there, they are fools.
