One of my biggest regrets in life is not becoming a geologist. My uncle was a geologist, and I always enjoyed visiting him when I was small. He always gave me a rock or fossil, and by the time I was a teenager, I had an impressive collection. Circumstances steered me in another direction, however. Despite that, I always enjoy visiting museums to see their rock collections, interesting geological sites, caves, and old mines.
