Today’s Prayer September 6, 2026 Good morning dear heavenly Father! Each day, You continue to bless! You continue to show Your love and graciousness! You continue to be faithful in every way! Father, I praise You for this day. I will rejoice and be glad! If there is ever a friend in need, You know I am ready. Let us praise You! Yes, let us shout, for You are our God! “Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.” (Psalm 100:1-5) Dear Father, as I pray this morning, I pray Your blessings for my friends. Lord, You are most worthy to be praised for I know You will bless their needs as only You can. There is no doubt that Your mercy endures forever and Your love is greater than anything I’ve known. Even during times of weakness, during the times that I struggled, during the times I knew better, I could still see Your hand of grace in my life! As each day passes, one more day is always a blessing. My dear Lord! How I enjoy using each day to read Your promises in Scripture! Father, Your promises always comfort me and give me a strong sense of well-being! You’ve even promised to carry me into my old age! “Even to your old age, I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.” (Isaiah 46:4) Father, You’ve delivered me from conception to this very day! As a young boy, I remember the times You anointed me. You touched me! You saved me! You blessed me! You showed me how to serve You! And You waited patiently when I tried to run. Yes, though today I feel the effects of old age increasing, Your Word gives me assurance. Paul said, “Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.” (2 Corinthians 4:16) Father, thank You for this promise. I pray my inward man, my spirit, will serve You with all that I am. For all that I am is Yours. Thank You for Your grace, each and every day. Lord, I pray for those who are hurting, that You would touch them, and bring joy and provision into their lives. Everything belongs to You, dear God, and You have made it possible for me to give to others. “The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself.” (Proverbs 11:25) Another blessed promise! Father, I pray my offerings would be acceptable to You and used wisely by those who receive and manage what I’ve given. All good gifts come from You! Thank You, dear Lord, for always hearing me, for accepting my praise, and for always answering the prayers of my heart. In Jesus’ blessed and precious name I pray, amen. Ben Everything I have belongs to God. He allows me to use things while I'm here. When I die, it all stays here.
