Buffalo, NY police roll up on an altercation where a man has a box cutter and a pair of scissors. As officers approach, one of the men involved in the altercation stabs an officer. Officers attempt to detain him and he then attempts to flee. The officer who was stabbed then performs an impromptu handgun ballistics test on the mans hip and leg with his Glock 17 pistol wearing a TLR-7A light. The ballistics test causes the man, who is still unnamed by the city of Buffalo (we all know there's a reason for that...), to reconsider his life choices and he was arrested. Both the officer and the human ballistics gel block were transported to the hospital. I have no idea why the officer seemingly intentionally didn't shoot the man center mass but it is what it is.
