This is a M929A2 military dump truck. Like all the other 939 series trucks, it's six wheel drive with a 250 hp mechanically injected 8.3 liter Cummins turbo diesel and an Allison 5 speed automatic transmission. It has air brakes. Engaging the front drive axel is done via an air operated locking mechanism, which is activated by a lever switch located on the dash.
