We're looking at the last ditch measures to exploit as much as possible of the remaining tanks in storage. A few hundred T-72As, few dozen T-80UDs and maybe some more T-62s kept well enough to be repaired. After that it's only the ongoing new yearly production of 200-250 T-90Ms. I keep trying to stress this point because, while Russia is not out of tanks, the very replenishment and reinforcement of their active tank fleet means their storage is almost entirety exhausted of useful hulls. Good to remember both facts and the same time. And the situation is pretty much the same all across the board of AFVs in storage. A few hundred BMPs, old BTRs and little else. Just like old tanks such as T-64s, there's no point at this stage of the war to brother overhauling old shit like BRDM-2s or MT-LBus. https://x.com/Jonpy99/status/2099435062966071318
