https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=u16oXMcSy7c - 9mm Parabellum Bullet - Inferno (heart records cover) I love the Souls franchise and found some great anime opening compilations that I can’t not share anymore. Number seven has heartrecords english cover 9mm Parabellum Bullet Inferno. I want video games to make openings as marketing material. Watch this and you will be compelled to buy/play this game! Already making plans to utilize concepts for marketing material! 0:07 - wide landscape shots are used but in a rather interesting sequence where the pan up to a tower smash cuts to a scene of a tower in the same position in the composition. This is an excellent framing technique to keep from making transitions jarring. The scene is also darker, and works well for the pan down transition to a gate leading into darkness. 0:07-0:22 - some great slow pans of the protagonist at the non fires and The Darksign, which are key factors to the character’s journey. The fade in of the title fits perfectly with the climax of the chorus. 0:23-0:37 - a great compilation with cinematics and gameplay the semi-reflect the lore of the bosses. Editing for the scenes is spot using the dialogue, where the music may be too quick to appreciate the clips shown. A generic choice on the surface, but some openings will use the instrumental as the clipping layout, while others use the dialogue to an equivalent effect, and deciding which can change the structure and ability of the opening. 0:38-0:52 - excellent transfer of meaning from the lyrics matching “blade” to the cinder and following line. The clip of the protagonist rekindling the bonfire fits perfectly with the stepped up bps (beats per second) in providing emphasis to the importance of the action in the game. 0:52-1:29 - an excellent montage of gameplay scenes showcasing some Lords of Cinders and mob fights. The climax of the music is a great point I’ve found for using gameplay footage. While cinematic clips can be utilized when the music picks up (excluding pre chorus) I’ve found that using helicopter camera instills the dramatization of the experience best. #gaming #entertainment #anime #manga #videogames
