The need to stage/prioritize a 'question' RE: the clamor about the absence of a Marine outside the Oval Office lets you know the observation stuck a chord significant enough that the Biden Admin felt it necessary to address it with haste. Even then Psaki has to circle-back with an answer because, of course, that's a hard one to address because why?????? --- Debra Saunder (WH Press Corp) was called by circle-back Psaki (she gets their questions in advance) as the first question to ask why was there no US Marine outside front door of WH.
