Eliminating the US Department of Education is great. I am all for it. But let's not fool ourselves as to why education outcomes are so far down. The US went from being amongst the Top 5 in education test scores to the Bottom 5 among the OECD as the United States became proportionately less White. Cutting out the Department of Education will not solve the true cause of our education crisis - which is the browning of America.
