The name of #Jesus is a subversion. It’s an evolved form of the name Yeshu (ישו). There is an early Rabbinical text called *Toledot Yeshu* (The Life/Chronicles of Jesus), which presents an alternative story of the Messiah that ridicules his life, miracles, and death. The story describes the Messiah as an illegitimate child who practiced witchcraft and seduced women. The Talmud states that the character Yeshu “was sexually immoral and worshiped a brick” (Sanhedrin 107b), “is in hell being boiled in hot excrement” (Gittin 57a), and that his mother “played the harlot with carpenters” (Sanhedrin 104b). Yeshu is an acronym for “yemakh shemo w-zikhrow,” which means “may His name and memory be erased,” and this is one of the strongest curses in the Hebrew language. This is the origin of the name Yeshua (יֵשׁוּעַ) Yeshua is then translated as Iesoú (Ἰησοῦ) in Greek and Iesoús (Ἰησοῦς) in Koiné Greek, which is translated as Iesús (or IESVS) in Latin, which evolved into Jesus in the 14th century with its current pronunciation by the 16th. Iesoús literally means “hail Zeus.” His real name is Yahshua (יהושע), which is the same name of Joshua, the son of Nun. This would be Ἰοσουέ (*Iosué*) in Greek. According to Strong’s H3091, it has the meaning of “Yahweh is salvation”. To call him by the name of Jesus or Yeshua (H3442) is to render his name meaningless because it is to exclude Yahweh’s name from his. This is a breaking of the Third Commandment. When Yahshua, meaning “Yahweh is salvation”, said “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life” (John 14:6) he was saying the Way, the Truth and the Life is the salvation of Yahweh, in which the Old Testament defines as full obedience to the Torah (Psalms 119:1, 142, Proverbs 13:14, Deuteronomy 30:2-3, Nehemiah 1:9). It is also how Hebrews 13:8 should be interpreted “[the salvation of Yahweh] is the same yesterday, today and forever.” When the name and meaning of the Messiah becomes distorted, so does the entire message of the Gospel, which makes it all about the worship of a man (Jesus) rather than a way of living that reconciles us to God. Every letter in the Hebrew alphabet has a numerical value, so when the title “the Lord Jesus Christ” is transliterated into Hebrew letters, as דְ לֹרְדּ חֵזֻ׳ס כְרִ׳סְטֹס, the numerical value adds up to 666. With this combined with the semantic subversion of His name, and the fact that Christians have replaced #Yahweh with Jesus in their worship, it is safe to conclude that **Jesus is the #Antichrist**, and this is ultimately what the difference between Jesus and the man Yahshua boils down to. How many Messiahs are accepted by Christians as Messiahs (one of the criteria for the Antichrist’s identity)? Jesus is also a widely accepted teacher in the New Age religion as being one of their ‘Ascended Masters’ (whom are really the Watchers or fallen angels) and Maitreiya, the World Teacher (the Antichrist).
