Way back in 2016 I had a used Lenovo T410 (had an Nvidia Quadro 310 GPU). I swapped the old 500GB 2.5" SATA hdd for a 512GB SSD and installed Linux Mint 17.3. Worked great. Later I ditched it for a $261 (after shipping) new HP ProBook with an AMD R5 3500U APU (Vega 8 graphics). Swapped the 256GB NVME for a 1TB NVME, doubled from 8GB DDR4 RAM to 16GB, and installed Linux Mint 22.3. Works awesome. Great for on-the-go emulation builds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXsLZxj5yVs
