What do they say? Beware the Ides of March? The Ides are coming- just be 'aware'.  Mars goes Direct on February 24th- Finally, as it is be steaming out in the sauna of Cancer for too long. Since September of 2024 in fact. This now reenergises your mojo, and sees you moving back into action where things were stalled. It could even be good for your love life. But don’t rush. Mars is not fully back in the fire sign of Leo until May.  Venus Stations Retrograde on March 1st/2nd at 10° of Aries. This is time once again to review what you like and don’t like in terms of the actions you’d like to take to feel more empowered and validated in your personal relationships. Venus has a star point here.  Mercury conjuncts this retrograding Venus on March 11th. She's now on her way back towards Pisces. That’s time to review love and communications. Maybe get out the journal and express some beautiful words? It is interesting that they are travelling back together as these two are the most personal of the planets so it may affect us in our intimate interactions, and not be so much as ‘noise’ from the collective sphere.  The Sun conjuncts Saturn on March 12th. This happens annually. This time it is at 22° of Pisces, bringing sharper contrast to tthat Piscean slipperiness. Saturn concretises the ideal and ethereal. But there’s work to do to achieve that. Shine a light on what the world actually is, warts 'n all, and not what the news media tells you it is. Reality check time.  Total Lunar Eclipse at 23° of Virgo on n March 14th. Pisces and Virgo is now where the Nodes are pivoting. We may not notice any dramatic effects immediately, but look out for people and events coming in and going out of your life or any psychosomatic issues regulating and integrating body and soul coming up to be dealt with. Check back to see who's come and gone since 2024. The Eclipse effect? Think about it.  The Sun conjuncts Venus. March 22nd. This is an impulsive and youthful Venus retrograde at 2° of Aries so it shines a light on the me-first-get-out-of-the -way style of moving in the social sphere allowing you to have a bit more fun as long as it's not too boisterous and considers the impact on others. Venus is blessed here by a sextile to Pluto in Aquarius.  The Sun conjuncts Mercury. March 24th. This is also a retrograde Mercury at 4° of Aries. Check and double check all emails, computers, letters, statements, documents and any promises made. It's good for editors to revise and to monitor business with more attention to detail. But we should be doing that all the time anyway - we don't need Mercury retrograde to remind us, but often it does.  Venus conjuncts Neptune. March 27th. This is at the endpoint degree 29° of Pisces. Normally, this is hugely beneficial, but stay on guard for overreaching oneself, could be big on losses as well as gains. It could enhance spiritual and mystical inclincations and deepen any compassion you feel, but beware of the wool being pulled over your eyes to the myriad deceptions possible as people have a habit of not telling the truth and you need an inbuilt shit detector to see who is still 'in denial' or not. Venus reenters Pisces on the same day so at least Venus is exalted here and there could be an elevation of love into the higher realms, underscored by a deeper understanding of her role in social lubrication. Venus can still be fussy here however in spiritual matters.  Partial Solar Eclipse in Aries at 8° of Aries. March 29th. Another eclipse closes the eclipse window for now but brings sudden changes as it often does. We may feel it hit especially if we have any planets at around 8° of Aries, Libra, Cancer or Capricorn. But this is the last in that series in Aries-Libran until it comes around again.  Neptune enters Aries at 0°. March 30th. This just before April Fool’s day. The Fool in the Tarot steps off the cliff without looking. Best to look ahead but still smell the roses. This is momentous as it has not happened since 1861-1875- the time of the Civil War in the USA. And though it dips back into Pisces, once it reenters Aries in early 2026, it will say there until 2039! Check where this is in your personal chart as it will not only oppose any planets you have in Libra, but also square those in Aries and Capricorn. Hopefully, we’ll not see too much more ‘splitting’ of opinions and obsession with fixed ideas worldwide but that may be necessary to see where people are divided by beliefs and lack faith in anything of genuine value. It does seem that interests have become overly materialistic and yes 'profane' is the right word, and disconnected from spirit and Nature. I’m all for a return to the Sacred if that's what Neptune in Aries brings, plus babies born in April 2025 might be real Ninja warriors.
