Just prior to America's entry into WW2 Hollywood created a fawning bio-pic about Haym Solomon financing the American Revolution. 📺 "Sons of Liberty" directed by Michael Curtiz (1939) tells the story of Haym Solomon. It won an Academy Award in 1940 for Best Short Subject (Two-Reel).
