This post is specifically addressed to @a / @gab. I don't know if you are aware of the Kiwi Farms situation or what help you can readily provide, but I feel compelled to bring it to your attention. Please read this post in its entirety; I solemnly swear it's not a waste of time. KiwiFarms is a free speech forum. The owner, Joshua Moon AKA "Null", operates his forum the same way you do Gab: if it's protected speech under US law then it's fair game for the site. Anything illegal gets routinely called out by forum regulars and promptly nuked by mods. The MSM lies about KF like they do Gab. Seeing as KF's culture is centered around laughing at crazy people on all parts of the political spectrum, the speech is often vulgar in nature. That isn't the real issue, though. The MSM's *actual* gripe is KF's nearly obsessive focus on archiving the data to unbiased sites like http://archive.today so nothing can be refuted. Due to this, many of the left's protected classes are routinely exposed for crimes. 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑚𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑎 𝑑𝑜𝑒𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑟𝑒𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠, instead opting to paint KF as a hate site dedicated to violence. Six months ago transgender twitch streamer "Keffals" (https://twitter.com/keffals) became the subject of a KF thread (KF: https://archive.ph/HY4hK) documenting, with archives, very serious crimes: rampant child grooming and providing minors with homebrewed HRT drugs behind the backs of their parents. About a month ago the thread began blowing up due to Keffals finally taking notice and subsequently launching the #DropKiwiFarms campaign. The entire political apparatus began moving against them, initially pressuring CloudFlare to drop KiwiFarms from their DDOS protection plan. CloudFlare initially resisted (https://archive.ph/L08Dr) but recanted within 2 days, blocking all access to https://kiwifarms.net/ and forcing KF to fall back on the pre-established https://kiwifarms.ru/ domain. There is evidence that CloudFlare's CEO lied about the reasoning (KF: https://archive.ph/mRSGn), which is all the more likely in light of the twitter mob beginning to go after him and his employees (twitter: https://archive.ph/Re5iY). After CloudFlare dropped KiwiFarms, Keffals and those in his orbit began something I can honestly say I've never seen: a coordinated brigading of international infrastructure-level internet services in a thus far successful attempt to extrajudicially wipe a shitposting site off the face of the earth. The usual cast of malicious actors are present: ADL, Taylor Lorenz, former assistant FBI director Frank Figliuzzi, Brianna Wu, Fortune, Slate, AP and dozens more. Meanwhile, Keffals openly celebrates his crimes (https://archive.ph/Ty7dy). All of this has been weaponized to protect Keffals, a predatory man with no business having contact with children. Instead of reporting on his alleged crimes, the media has enfilthed itself over Keffals' hurt feelings to enable a terrorism campaign on his behalf. More than that, though, the Cathedral is breaking 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑛𝑒𝑡 𝑖𝑡𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑓 to deny any sort of dissent against the current narrative - kids be damned. Which brings me, finally, to why I reached out. Gab is the 𝑜𝑛𝑙𝑦 company I can think of that comes remotely close to this level of illegitimate persecution, vis-a-vis censorious deplatforming, and come out on top. You have been through the wringer already and have built up some high-level safeguards for yourself. Torba, are there any infrastructure services you can feasibly provide KiwiFarms? It's my understanding that Null owns the hosting (albeit seemingly tenously) but needs help with higher-level upstream infrastructure resources. While the impetus for this post is saving a forum I enjoy, it's so much more than that. This hellacious political apparatus must not be allowed to warp the fabric of the world wide web lest we lose the ability to legally expose and repel the rest of their heinous actions.
